pixel fish

it’s pixel sundays, isn’t it?

i created these monocolor fish (and mollusks, and invertebrates, and etc.) to be a unifying visual element in my portfolio (which can be accessed from the sidebar — warning, it’s still a work in progress). i like to think they class it up a little. working with stark black and white allows even fine pixel detail to be readable.

look, the octopus and crab are waving to you.

They so cute! The one above the angler fish reminds of the aliens from Metal Slug. I always felt kinda bad about shoting those guys.

Sorry for foisting my weird idea on you. It just seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

Marine life AND pixel art! How great is that!

Your portfolio looks good too. I noticed one mistake though — Mark Overmars is Dutch, not German.
