james harvey, who is in fact in japan right now, made some desktops of mighty jill off for all of you, in 1024×768, 1400 x 950 and 1920 x 1200 resolutions. now you too can have a chubby dyke gimp sprinting across your desktop! you can grab them off jill off’s press page. this is in fact the very same image of jill that i’ve had on my own desktop for the past four months.
speaking of games by auntie pixelante, there’s a rough-and-tumbler tearin’ her way towards us right now, a storm of dust rising in her wake. calamity annie rides into town august first, and i hope you’re all as excited (but not as exhausted) as i am.

somos muy listos: me + my comrades at the lab are looking forward to calamity annie’s arrival. will there be developer’s notes or a retrospective or anything? i’m super-curious about yr process, both from technical + creative angles.
i’ll probably put some concept work up on the gamer’s quarter forums after people have had a little time to play it. i have a thirty+ page “mockup diary” that’s served as a sort of evolving codex for the game throughout its development, which i’m planning to post excerpts from.
