i wanted to play the best visual hack and the best aural hack of super mario bros. at the same time, so i combined L’s silhouette bros. and dr. floppy’s enigmario to create silhouette enigmario bros. what will further experiments in patching patched roms produce?

Total n00b at these patches, can anyone point me to a guide and/or needed software?
try lunar ips. just apply the patch to a rom of super mario bros.
the best visual hack of mario is just making all of the sprites black? low bar
you should submit this to the IGF though, it has silhouettes so youre guaranteed to win some money
I accidentally used this patch over “Mario Goes Underground” instead of a fresh ROM…
And it works pretty good! (save for a few sections where you can’t see yourself…)
It freezes for me if I go underground, whether the second level or the pipe to the underground coins in the first level =\
try a different emulator. i use virtuanes.
